The companies Borealis Polyolefine GmbH, ENGEL Austria GmbH, and Oerlikon HRSflow have demonstrated in a joint project how close simulation can be to reality today. For this purpose, the workflow in the creation of a filling simulation was redesigned and innovative solutions for transferring the simulation to the injection moulding machine were used. The project was illustrated with a real component: a car door module.
